Corpus Christi weather is hard on fences, pergolas and decks. We build ours to stand up to it.
Posts are set deep in concrete, with longer posts set deeper on 7–8 ft fences, so your fence stays straight when the wind picks up.
Hot-dip galvanized and stainless fasteners resist rust in humid, salty coastal air. No cheap bright nails that streak and fail.
Ground-contact posts, 2–4 rails depending on height, and heavier gate and corner post upgrades available where loads are highest.
Every quote is written and itemized, so you know exactly what you're getting. Honest and fair: no hidden fees, no pressure, no pushy upsells. We quote it straight and stand behind it.
You deal directly with the owner, not a call center. Wayne Burton handles your estimate and quote personally and stays your contact through installation and final walkthrough.
Cleanup is part of every install, and we can remove and haul away your old fence too.

Check my area & book an estimateYes. Along with wood privacy fences, we build custom wood pergolas (pressure-treated pine or cedar, freestanding or attached) and decks (pine, cedar or composite boards like Trex or TimberTech, ground-level or raised). Every pergola and deck is custom, so you get a written quote after a free site visit.
Often, yes. Under the City of Corpus Christi's homeowner permitting guide, attached pergolas/patio covers and detached ones over 200 sq ft need a permit, and decks need one if they are over 200 sq ft, over 30 inches high, attached to the house, or serve an exit door. We'll tell you at your estimate whether your project needs one. Permit fees are passed through at the City's cost, with no markup. Rules change, so we confirm current requirements for your address.
It depends on the height and location of the fence. Permits and fees, where required, are the homeowner's responsibility unless included in your written quote; permit fees are passed through at cost. Taller fences (7–8 ft) may face height limits or need a permit or variance, so we recommend checking current City of Corpus Christi rules for your property, and we'll talk it through at your free estimate.
If your neighborhood has an HOA, get their approval before installation. Approval is the homeowner's responsibility, but we're happy to provide the fence height, style, materials and a layout sketch for your application.
We call Texas 811 to have public utility lines marked before any digging. Please allow 2–3 business days for locates. Private lines such as sprinklers/irrigation, invisible pet fences, landscape lighting and septic need to be marked by the homeowner.
Scheduling depends on the season; we'll give you a timeline with your quote. Most fence installs take 1–3 days on site, weather permitting; pergolas and decks vary with size and design, and your quote includes an estimated timeline.
Yes. A deposit is due at signing to schedule your install and order materials; the balance is due on completion. Quotes are valid for 30 days because lumber costs change.
Yes. We stand behind our workmanship, and materials are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Storm/hurricane damage, ground movement and misuse aren't covered. Warranty terms are spelled out in your written quote.
Owner Wayne Burton quotes every job personally (estimate, design and quote) and stays your point of contact from start to finish. The installation is done by our professional partner crew.
Pressure-treated pine is the lowest upfront cost; cedar looks warmer and naturally resists rot. Both need cleaning and a fresh coat of stain/sealer every couple of years in our sun. Composite costs more upfront but doesn't need staining, which a lot of coastal homeowners like. Either way, the frame is ground-contact pressure-treated lumber with coastal-grade fasteners.
Pressure-treated pine is the value pick and holds up well, especially when stained/sealed. Cedar costs a bit more, has a warmer look and naturally resists rot and insects. Both options use pressure-treated posts and rails set in concrete. Note: let new pressure-treated wood dry before staining; we'll advise on timing.
Tell us how to reach you and a little about your project, and we'll get back to you to set up a free on-site visit and written quote.
